Experience
Overview:
Ms. DiGeronimo, President of DiGeronimo PA, has over
30 years experience in architecture on a variety of tracks from
architect of record to architectural business administration.
Ms. DiGeronimo has developed a strength in management for project
quality control coupled with an iron hand on schedule and costs.
She has steered the firm to effectively provide a higher quality
architectural product to the general public, public agencies,
and private businesses. The firm’s small business size requires
Ms. DiGeronimo’s total personal commitment to each project and
to each client. She has dedicated her time to knowing each project
intimately thereby ensuring their successful completion.
As Managing
Principal, Ms. DiGeronimo is responsible for establishing overall
goals and objectives and coordinating implementation plans.
In conjunction with other executives, she is responsible for
the realization of profits compatible with the best interest
of clients and the firm.
Ms. DiGeronimo
provides overall guiding leadership for each DiGeronimo PA project
in the form of Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) management.
For the AIA, Ms. DiGeronimo ran programs across the Mainland
U.S. and Hawaii to train architects in Quality Management. She
participates in continuing education courses specifically in
the effective management of design professionals. She received
training by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) in Total
Quality Management (TQM) practice and principles and is knowledgeable
in ISO 9000 procedures. Ms. DiGeronimo has been extensively
involved in the Society of American Military Engineers and in
1995, received their highest honor – the Gold Metal – which
is awarded for conspicuous and meritorious service.
