DiGeronimo PA is Prime Consultant to the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority (TBTA) / Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) for architectural / engineering services:

to replace elevators at the Brooklyn and Governors Island buildings, to rehabilitate egress facilities at the Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Governors Island buildings, to rehabilitate the building façade and the dock and fender system at the Governors Island Building.

The DiGeronimo Team contract value is $750,000 in fee.  Construction cost is preliminarily estimated at $3.5 Million.  The DiGeronimo Team Contract, with DiGeronimo PA as Prime Consultant, goes 100% toward MTA Woman Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) goals, with 88% of the contract fees going to Woman (WBE) and Minority (MBE) Owned Enterprise firms

The work scope design objectives performed under the coordination of DiGeronimo PA, include assembly of required Team administrative submittals including quality assurance, health and safety plans, and traffic control plans.  DiGeronimo PA nationally recognized staff in Building Code compliance, review fire and life safety of building egress. DiGeronimo Team designs conform to The Building Code of the City of New York, OSHA and requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. DiGeronimo PA.  DiGeronimo PA staff federal experts in intrusion prevention, recommend deterrence precautions.

DiGeronimo Team tasks include investigation, document research, digital photography of existing conditions, and material sampling for testing. 

DiGeronimo Team designs progress through preliminary design (40%), advanced design (70%), and final design (100%).  DiGeronimo PA coordination includes in-house DiGeronimo PA engineers reviewing the work of Team sub consultants before documents go to TBTA / MTA for submission. 

DiGeronimo Team pre-construction contract award services begin by responding to contractors during bidding, preparation of written responses to bidders questions, and analyze final bid packages in a report format.

DiGeronimo Team construction phase services evaluate contractor construction schedules, shop drawings, material submittals, schedule changes, contractor payment requests, and general construction progress.  DiGeronimo PA managed construction phase services are critical to establishing control over DiGeronimo PA design project quality.  DiGeronimo Team project close out includes final equipment operation check, maintenance manuals, as-built documents and final punch list.  DiGeronimo PA is admired on the construction site for solving problems by adapting to actual and changing job conditions, without compromising project design quality.
