SUBCONSULTANT: Professional Planning & Engineering Corp. - Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing

DiGeronimo PA provided architectural/engineering services for the Higher Education Capital Improvements Program - College Avenue Campus Group II for the State University of New Jersey at Rutgers in New Brunswick, New Jersey.  As prime consultant, DiGeronimo PA was responsible for architectural design and oversight of all subconsultant engineering work, and construction phase services.  The Program includes six (6) buildings on the college avenue campus of the University. The scope of work included :

Scott Hall
  • Renovate/replace air handling units and associated coils.
  • Restore electrical system.
  • Remove vinyl asbestos tile in selected areas.
  • Upgrade corridors and HVAC returns for fire safety compliance.
  • Renovate offices with new floor, wall and window treatments.
  • Replace worn stair treads and egress doors.

  • Replace roof.
  • Repair/replace windows.
  • Repair exterior masonry.
  • Replace HVAC system.
  • Replace pipe insulation.
  • Reconstruct EOF office space into more efficient arrangement.

  • Repair exterior masonry.
  • Replace roof and existing chimney.
  • Replace windows.

  • Replace windows, slate roof and low slope roof
