DiGeronimo, P.A., working closely with the U.S. Postal Service, designed the new Pompton Plains Main Post Office. The Post Office was unique in that negotiations between the U.S. Postal Service and the Town resulted in the addition of a second floor to the facility, to be leased to the Pompton Plains Board of Education.

Additionally, Pompton Plains required that the post office design be compatible with the architectural character of their town. Thus, DiGeronimo prepared the design in close coordination with the Town as well as with the U.S. Postal Service.

DiGeronimo successfully combined these unique requirements into a good looking building, aesthetically acceptable to Pompton Plains and useable under the dual functions of the Postal Service operations and the Township Board of Education.
