Building
102
Project services involved architectural, mechanical, and electrical
renovations. Interior work included remodeling of the desk sergeant's
area, locker room, Captain's office, and break room including replacement
of ceiling tile and floor coverings. Utility service modifications
added central air, sprinkler system, sump pump, water line repairs,
heating and boiler upgrades, and electrical service analysis repair.
Exterior services included windows, siding, gutters, porch and deck
areas, and sidewalk repairs.
Project deliverables included design drawings and specifications for
bidding by Defense Distribution Region East. Deliverables also included
construction cost estimates, design calculations, and final documents
submitted on diskette.
All drawings were produced on AutoCAD R12. All work was done in accordance
with Army COE G Specifications.
Building 81
The roof over the Command Office Building 81 at New Cumberland required
repair. Since the DDRE Command is free to locate at any Army installation
convenient for them, New Cumberland Army Depot was working hard to
keep their customer happy. However, budget funding pool limitations
and higher level review authority triggers, restricted the type of
roof repair our firm was able to offer as a solution. It works, but
so did DiGeronimo in developing the repair acceptable to restrictions
yet still solving the core issue - a watertight roof.
