DiGeronimo PA is part of the Design-Build Team for the Vehicle Maintenance Facility (VMF) for the Aviation Brigade at Fort Drum, New York.

The facility will consolidate units at one location close to the airfield.The project includes 88 work bays and five administrative areas in two major buildings. In addition, the project includes organizational storage buildings, unit storage buildings, and Class IV storage buildings.DiGeronimo completed all documentation for the architectural design of all buildings.

DiGeronimo prepared interior design services included submission of color boards for all spaces.

Supporting facilities include storm sewers, sanitary sewers, potable water and fire protection supply piping, sanitary wastewater pump station, electric service, fire protection and alarm systems, paving, security fencing and lighting, information systems, and site improvements. Heating will be provided by hot water from natural gas fired boilers.

Site development includes grading, drainage, paving for parking and drives, and fencing. Site preparation includes the demolition of an existing concrete wall and the removal of existing construction debris and rubble. Also included is the extension of utility systems to the VMF site from connections to existing systems at the airfield.

The VMF is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Munns Corner Road and County Route 29, Fort Drum, New York.

This project is designed with the intent of maximizing the use of sustainable design and development practices. We are maximizing the use of the sustainable design and development practices. At a minimum this project must receive the Bronze Certification under US Army Corps of Engineers Sustainable Project Rating Tool (SpiRit)
